Resolved: Network Resiliency Degradation – Mile End Campus

Summary

Following a power outage yesterday affecting parts of the Mile End campus (originating from UKPN), a potential fault has been identified with the JISC router located at Mile End.

At present, ExpressRoute and Internet traffic continue to be successfully routed via the JISC router at Whitechapel. However, network resiliency is currently degraded while this issue remains under investigation.

JISC engineers are actively working with the ITS Network team to identify the root cause and restore full resiliency as soon as possible.

Further updates will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.
