Summary: Disruption to print services on self-managed devices from 10am – 1pm on Thursday, 18 May 2023.
Impact to users and services affected: For those with self-managed devices, you will experience a disruption and inability to print during this timeframe. The affected printers are located within Finance, Estates & Facilities, Student Union Offices, the Malta Campus although additional printers may be affected as well.
If you experience any issues with printing after ITS this upgrade window, please contact the ITS Service Desk and raise a ticket for support (please reference INC/254094 when contacting the Service Desk).

Technical information: IT Services will be upgrading the print server MPS-WIN-01 for SD24 Clients. The current operating system is end of life and this change will bring it up to a supported OS. During this maintenance window, printers using MPS-WIN-01 will be disrupted.
