Resolved: Service Disruption Due to Microsoft Azure Outage

Summary

Dear Colleagues

Due to a global outage with Microsoft Azure (a cloud computing platform that we used to manage applications and services), certain services may be unavailable.

There may be issues with certain services, such as delays and unavailability. These may include issues such as:

  • Not being able to log into applications/systems using single sign on which are hosted on the web such as MyHR and Agresso
  • Not being able to access applications/systems hosted on Azure or experiencing connectivity/stability issues with these

As this is a global outage, we are unable to provide a fix to this issue ourselves, but we remain in touch with our suppliers and will keep you posted with updates.

If you experience issues with an application/system please do let us know by raising tickets with the IT Helpdesk. This will allow us to remain updated on the applications/systems which are most affected by this outage.
