Summary

Due to the ongoing technical incident the search facilities on the research publications website at https://www.qmul.ac.uk/research/publications remain non-functioning, and have been removed from the webpage from the time being.

QMRO remains operational at https://qmro.qmul.ac.uk/

The technical team are continuing to investigate the issue in collaboration with our technical partners, and a further update will be provided on 2 June.

Update 2/6/25 17:00: The technical team are continuing to endeavour to restore search functionality – the next update will be provided by 17:00 on the 5/6/25.

Update 5/6/25 17:00: The technical team is actively working to fix the search issue on the research publications website. A resolution plan is now in place, involving complex steps that are expected to be completed by the end of the month, pending successful testing and validation. The team acknowledges the disruption and is committed to resolving the issue as a top priority, with updates to follow. Thank you for your patience and understanding. The next update will be provided by 17:00 on the 13/06/25

Update from 13/06/25: The technical team remains actively engaged in resolving the search functionality issue on the research publications website. Following a review meeting held today, we can confirm that we remain on track to implement the resolution by the end of June, as previously communicated.

Update from 20/06/25: The technical team have remained actively engaged in resolving the issue. Following a progress meeting held today, we remain on track to resolve the issue by the end of June.

Update from 30/06/25: The search functionality on the QMUL Research Publications website remain unavailable due to unexpected issues found during testing. The revised target for restoring the service is mid-July. The IT Services team is working to resolve the problems, and a further update will be provided by the end of the week. QMUL apologises for the inconvenience and thanks users for their patience.
