Impact to users and services affected: IT Services are performing planned maintenance on the remote access solution (FortiClient) on Friday, 1st December, 6pm – 7.30pm.

A brief interruption will be seen during the maintenance window for mRDS VPN users, where there will be a period of no access to QMUL resources over the VPN for up to 20 minutes during this window (including rollback time).

The FortiClient VPN Zero Trust Telemetry tab will show the status of “Not Reachable” during this change window, as per the screenshot below.
This will not affect standard managed users’ connectivity to QMUL resources.
