Summary
Maintenance Window: 7 hours, Saturday 16th September, 10AM until 5PM
Impact to users and services affected: An EECS firewall migration will take place this Saturday (16/09/2023) with a change window 10am – 5pm.
Intermittent service interruption during this change window will be limited to the following researcher / phd / academic services:
- EECS (GPU) Servers will be unreachable.
- EECS Desktops/workstations that haven’t been moved over to the ITS network will be affected, this is going to affect anyone working in Peter Landin and the Engineering building.
- The networked storage array will also be unavailable during this time
- Some web services hosted by EECS will also be affected, mainly due to any services that require the above.
Any member of EECS that discovers connectivity issues after this change window should contact EECS IT Support directly (Branavan Santhakumar, b.santhakumar@qmul.ac.uk). Please provide your workstation details and the service you are attempting to connect to / from.
