Summary

Impact to users and services affected: QMplus is currently experiencing intermittent performance issues, we are working with the vendor to find a fix. The service is currently stable but may experience further interruptions until a permanent fix is in place.

15th Oct 2021

Update: 16:00 – QMplus remains stable and performing well, further configuration changes have been identified to help improve resource utilisation, these will be deployed once testing is complete.

Update 09:30 – QMplus is currently available and stable, we continue to work with our vendor to find a permanent fix to the performance issue.

14th Oct 2021

Update: 16:30 – Performance issues have been stabilised, our investigations have pointed the earlier performance issues to a mass simultaneous enrolment job for a particular course,
investigations are ongoing, further updates tomorrow.

Update: 13:30 – QMplus is currently accessible, we are working on improving the performance as its slow in loading some pages.

Update: 13:15 – QMplus is currently experiencing interruptions we have notified the Vendor, who is investigating.

Update: 10:20 – The tests with the permanent fix has not shown to be completely successful, we have made some changes to keep the service stable, whilst we continue to investigate a permanent fix.

Update: 16:10 – We are still investigating the permanent fix, a potential solution is being tested, once the results of the tests have been confirmed as successful, we will deploy the solution .
