Summary
Impact to users and services affected: There is an issue currently affecting print services, specifically visibility of the managed MyPrint queue.
The incident is currently being investigated and has been escalated internally. We have identified that this is not affecting all users however, for some the managed print queue will be unavailable.
We encourage users to try WebPrint and Email – to – Print in the absence of the MyPrint queue.
For Email – to – Print:
- Send an email to Myprint@qmul.ac.uk with the attached document you wish to print. You should receive confirmation from MyPrint Notifications when your job is pending release.
- Sign in at the printer and your job should be in the queue to be released.
For WebPrint:
- Navigate to myprint.qmul.ac.uk and select WebPrint in the left hand task bar.
- Upload and submit the document you require printed and wait for the status to display Held in Queue.
- Sign in at the printer and your job should be in the queue to be released.
