Summary
Impact to users and services affected: There is currently a network issue at Dept W. As a result you may not be able to connect to the network. The issue has been reported to IT Services and is being investigated.
Update@6.00pm: The Openreach engineers have identified and fixed the fault, checks are currently being undertaken to ensure the issue has been completely resolved.
Update@5.30pm: The BT engineer has visited both Garrod and Dept W to inspect the Fibre fault. We are confident that the fault will be fixed over the weekend.
Update @3.40pm: Openreach have investigated the issue and have reported that there is a Fibre fault between Whitechapel and the Exchange. The Openreach engineer is meeting with our Network team at our Whitechapel site to further investigate the fault and find a resolution.
Update @12.25pm: Openreach has confirmed a fault on their side and have dispatched an engineer to the exchange to investigate the issue.
Update @9.51am: The issue has been identified and it is to do with a fault on the BT Openreach link to Dept W. BT Openreach have been made aware and are investigating the issue.
