What’s happening
We will be relocating the Data Safe Haven and its associated services from DC2 to DC5.
Why this is happening
This change is part of the Research Data Centre Expansion and Relocation project. The goal is to move services from DC2 to the newly established Research Data Centre (DC5).
This aligns with the ITS Hosting Strategy and supports delivery of the Research Data Strategy. The relocation timeline has been agreed following consultation with FMD stakeholders.
User impact
Data Safe Haven services will be unavailable during the maintenance window.
All affected users have already been notified by the FMD FRM.
What you need to do
- Save your work ahead of the maintenance window
- Inform any external collaborators of the planned downtime
Expected resolution
All services are expected to be fully restored by 18:00 on 27 June.
