Summary
Mitel Telephony is being migrated to a new Cloud based telephony service called RingCentral.
Extension numbers that exist on the Mitel platform will soon be migrated to RingCentral
A number of these extensions currently sit within the 4000 range of numbers.
The 4000 range will not be migrated to RingCentral therefore we will be changing these extensions to numbers in the 7000 range.
The link provided contains is a list of all extensions in the 4000 range along with the extension name and the new number that is being allocated.
The majority of these numbers are used internally to contact Helpdesks or Security but if you advertise them on internal sites within QM then be aware of the changes and update your information accordingly.
There will be no disruption to service during this period.
